The Truth about Cross Fit Endurance?

So, a few posts ago I wrote about switching to Cross Fit Endurance. And then a friend from the forums at Runners World gave me a few links to reading material and some insights. Take a look for yourself:

Not a fan, Crossfit Endurance has the be the least feasible of their variations. I am not sure if anyone has completed any respectable distance or finishing time in tri or marathon while training under this principle.

I got a lot of feedback from people who take small things from CF or do CF type workouts as cross training. But I have yet to see someone stick to CFE for any good amount of time and succeed. I'm not talking about someone who started 8 months ago and did an ultra, I mean over a year of CFE.

I think that is the main criticism about CF in general. They claim elite athletics but fail to produce anyone who does well in anything outside of CF. And CFE has not shown improvements to performance to anyone who's a seasoned endurance athlete, or at least any that I know off.
