In middle school I was in a bad car accident and had back pain for three years almost ever day. This caused a bad depression and the inactivity and my lifestyle change into a gamer (and their diet) caused obesity to set in. One day I decided I needed to change and stopped eating bad junk and started working out. I did was physical therapy could not. By simply changing my lifestyle and losing weight the pain quickly went away as the weight came off.

Very interesting. After taking a couple of months off of wearing heels (I wear skirts and nylons to work every day), I wore a pair to work and was almost immediately in pain. I could barely walk. The day after Christmas, I took all of my cute heels and donated them to charity. That was a lot of money, but I would rather be able to exercise at the end of the day. I now wear the flattest shoes I can find, and LOVE exercising in my Vibrams. They really do make all of the difference. If I could find some that didn&#39;t look watcky with my stylin&#39; business suits, I&#39;d wear them to work. You are right about the weather though, my runs in the October rain in Seattle were not ideal in my Vibrams. Literally puts a damper on things. Excellent entry! My PF is doing very well - not perfect, probably due to the partial heels I still wear, but rarely flares up. I had a nice long, intense run yesterday in my VFFs and felt was great!

I had plantar fasciitis with my feet when I starte...

I had plantar fasciitis with my feet when I started walking in May.<br />I was morbidly obese so this didn&#39;t surprise me.
